Acai Bowl

I've been wanting to create this beautiful dish on my own for a while now. I found the acai frozen packets at Safeway, and decided to give it a go! It was sooo good, you can use any toppings you want, and I'll for sure be doing these with other smoothie flavors.


Ingredients:

2 packets Frozen Acai Puree

1 frozen Banana

1 cup Mixed Berries (frozen)

3/4 cup Almond Milk (or juice)

Assorted toppings: Fresh Berries, Sliced Bananas, Granola, Mini Chocolate Chips and Shredded Coconuts


Instructions:

  1. Break up the frozen acai puree and place it in your blender. Add in the frozen fruit and almond milk and blender. You may have to use additional milk if it's not fully blended.

  2. Transfer the smoothie to your bowls and top with your choice of toppings and enjoy!
