Almond Joy Bark

Another experiment gone right! We had a lot of left over ingredients and threw this together to make this yummy candy. Never let your left overs go to waste, you can always make something tasty if you get creative.

Ingredients:

1 (12 oz) bag Dark Chocolate Chips

1 1/2 cup Shredded Coconut, toasted

1 (11 oz) bag Carmel Bits

1 1/2 cup Almonds, chopped and toasted

1/2 cup Dark Chocolate Chips

1/2 cup White Chocolate Chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, and turn it off.

  2. Place the dark chocolate chips in a 9x9 pan and place it in the turned off oven for 4-5 minutes or until the chips have fully melted.

  3. Remove from the heat and top with the shredded toasted coconut.

  4. Melt the caramel bits on the stove top on low heat, add 2 tbsp of water to help melt and thin out the caramel. Pour it on top of the coconuts.

  5. Add the chopped and toasted almonds on top of the caramel.

  6. In 2 different sauce pans, melt the dark and white chocolate chips, add them on top of the almonds and use a knife to swirl, giving it a marble look.

  7. Set it aside and let it harden before you cut and enjoy!
