Baked Brie Charcuterie Board

Writer's picture: MickeyMickey

This is always a crowd pleaser. Who doesn't want to snack all day long? I've never made a charcuterie board before, so I attempted one and fell in love! You can decorate these with whatever you want really, and as many cheeses you want, but I just stuck with making my Brie the center of attention and pairing it with some fruits, meats and nuts. Be creative and see where it takes you, I don't think you can go wrong.

Ingredients:

Baked Brie:

1 package of Crescent Rolls

1 round of Brie

1/2 Green Apple

1 tbsp Brown Sugar

1 tsp Cinnamon

1/2 tsp Nutmeg

Goodies to add:

Crackers

Salami

Prosciutto

Coppa

Strawberries

Apples

Grapes

Blueberries

Nuts/Trail Mix

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Divide the crescent roll dough in half (4 triangles each) and pinch the cut marks so it forms 2 equal pieces.

  3. Slice the green apple to paper think pieces and set aside.

  4. Grease a cookie sheet with cooking spray and lay 1 piece of the dough in the middle.

  5. Place the brie in the middle of the dough and place the apple slices on top of the cheese. Sprinkle on the brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.

  6. Use the remaining dough and place it over the brie. (I removed any dough that was hanging over and made a star to decorate the top of the bread, but this is not necessary). Fold over the bottom dough piece to make sure you have the entire brie covered. Sprinkle with a tiny amount of brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.

  7. Place in the oven and cook for 11-13 minutes or until golden brown.

  8. Place the baked brie on your board and assemble as you wish!
