Cajun Crawfish

I love seafood, I don't get it often, so I get very excited when we decide to do a boil! This time we tried crawfish. We usually do crab or shrimp boil so this time we switched it up and it was great! So easy to make, you can add more things to your boil like sausage, potatoes etc, we just opted for corn on the cob last night. Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients:

3 lbs Crawfish

10 cups Water

1 Bag Louisiana Crawfish Shrimp & Crab Boil

2 tbsp Cajun Seasoning

1 tbsp Garlic Powder

1 tbsp Onion Powder

1 tbsp Chili Powder

1 tbsp Paprika

4 ears Corn, halved

2 Lemons, quartered

1 Lemon, sliced into rounds for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Add the water in a large pot and bring it to a boil. Then add the boil bag, and all the seasoning, including the 2 lemons quartered and bring it to a boil, mix well.

  2. Add in the corn and any other sides you want (sausage, potatoes etc). Let it cook for about 10 minutes.

  3. Add in the crawfish and let it boil for about 3-4 minutes then turn off the heat and let it soak for about 10 minutes.

  4. Once it's finished soaking, remove all the contents into a serving dish and enjoy! We ate ours with rice and a Laotian spicy sauce and it was delicious!
