These are so good, even though chocolate chip cookies are basic, sometimes you just need a good homemade cookie. The brown sugar and these really come through, it's delicious. The kids gave it a 2 thumbs up.
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 cup Unsalted Butter, melted
1/2 tsp Salt
3/4 cup Granulated Sugar
1 cup Brown Sugar
2 Eggs, room temperature
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
2 cups Chocolate Chunks (or chips)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees, and prepare your baking sheets with parchment paper.
Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt into a bowl and set aside.
Using a mixer, cream the melted butter and sugars until light and fluffy about 5 minutes. Reduce speed and mix in the eggs one at a time, then add vanilla. Slowly add dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Fold in chocolate chips with a spatula. Drop 2 tbsp of dough onto baking sheet. Bake for 10 – 12 minutes. Let them cool on a wire rack and enjoy!
