You can make these cute cookies from scratch, and I have, but why when you can use a cookie mix! They come out perfect and you can spend more time on decorating instead. You can get creative with what melting chocolate colors and sprinkles you use. They taste perfect!
Ingredients:
1 bag Sugar Cookie Mix
Melting Chocolate (any color)
Sprinkles (any kind)
Instructions:
Make the sugar cookies based on what cookie mix you have.
Roll out the dough and use a heart shape cookie to make your cut out.
Bake according to the instructions on your mix.
Let them cool on a cookie sheet completely before you start to decorate.
Once the cookies are completely cooled, melt the chocolate in the microwave in a microwave safe bowl for about a minute. Mix and if it's not fully melted add 15 secs at a time until it's fully melted.
Dip your heart cookie into the chocolate and decorate with your sprinkles. Let them set up completely before you eat or package up, maybe about 30 minutes or so.
