Chocolate Toffee Crunch Cookies

These are one of my husbands favorite cookies. It's packed with chocolate chips and toffee bits and oh so yummy. He likes to dip them in his milk, actually he dips all cookies in milk! I love the way this makes the house smell, it's really starting to feel like winter.

Ingredients:

3/4 cup Butter, melted/softened

3/4 cup Light Brown Sugar

1/2 cup Granulated Sugar

1/2 tsp Salt

1 tsp Baking Soda

2 tsp Cornstarch

2 cups All-Purpose Flour

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

1 large Egg

3/4 cup Toffee Bits

3/4 cup Milk Chocolate Chips

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cornstarch. Set aside.

  2. In a smaller bowl, whisk together the butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla until completely combined.

  3. Slowly pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture, stirring and folding slowly until a dough forms. Fold in the toffee bits and chocolate chips. Chill in the refrigerator for about 2 hours or overnight.

  4. When the dough is ready, preheat the oven to 350 and take the bowl out of the fridge. Roll tablespoon sized cookie dough balls using your hands, and place on a baking tray. Bake for 9 - 10 minutes. Let them set and cool for 15 minutes before you enjoy!
