I love steak. I love it even better with spicy dipping sauce! This is great by itself or with rice (sticky or steamed). You can make this sauce as mild or spicy as you want. But the reason this is called crying tiger, is because the sauce is supposed to be so spicy it would make a tiger cry! I like mine spicy, but manageable. I hope you guys enjoy this mouth watering dish.

Ingredients:
2 lbs Ribeye Steak
Salt
Pepper
Onion Powder
Garlic Powder
Cayenne Pepper
Dipping Sauce:
2 tbsp Thai Fish Sauce
1/3 cup Lime Juice
1 tsp Ground Toasted Rice Powder
5 Thai Chili Peppers
2 Garlic Cloves
1 tsp Palm Sugar
2 tbsp Cilantro, chopped
2 tbsp Green Onion, chopped
1 tbsp water
Instructions:
Generously season both sides of the steak with all the ingredients. We just sprinkle everything evenly and gently pat it in.
Grill for about 5-10 minutes on each side (this will depend on how thick your meat is and how rare you like it.) We cook to medium/medium rare.
To make the sauce, combine the chili peppers and garlic cloves in a mortar and pestle, grind until it becomes a paste.
Add in the fish sauce, lime juice, palm sugar and rice powder, mix well.
Transfer to a sauce bowl and add in the cilantro, green onion and water and mix it all together. You can dip the meat or drizzle it on!
