This made me feel like we went to the State Fair! I know this isn't the best for you, but it sure taste amazing. It's great with just powdered sugar and/or with ice cream. It was pretty simple to make, but make sure the oil isn't too hot, or you will burn them, keep it at medium heat. Enjoy immediately!
Ingredients:
1 quart of Vegetable Oil
1 package of Double Stuffed Oreos
1 1/2 cups of Bisquick
1 large Egg, beaten
1 cup of whole Milk
½ tsp Vanilla Extract
Powdered Sugar for dusting
Instructions:
Heat oil in a large pan on medium heat.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the beaten egg, vanilla extract, and milk. Add the bisquick mix and whisk until no lumps remain.
Using a large spoon, dip the Oreo into the batter and ensure it is fully coated.
Slowly put the batter covered Oreo into the oil. Cook the Oreo for about 30-60 seconds (depending how hot your oil is), or until the Oreo has turned golden brown.
Remove the Fried Oreos to a paper-lined plate. Then, sprinkle them with powdered sugar and serve immediately while the creme filling is still hot.
