Dutch Baby Pancake with Berries

Writer: MickeyMickey

This is the first time I've had a butch baby pancake, let alone make one. I don't have anything to compare it to but it was AMAZING. The kids loved it and so did I. We added our favorite berries to it, dust it with some powdered sugar and drizzled lightly with syrup. It was the perfect breakfast treat, my little one had seconds!

Ingredients:

1 cup All-Purpose Flour

4 large Eggs

1 cup Whole Milk

1/2 tsp Salt

4 tbsp Unsalted Butter, Melted

1 tbsp Powdered Sugar, for dusting

1/2 cups Mixed Berries

Maple syrup

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees.

  2. In a blender, combine the flour, eggs, milk, salt, and 2 tablespoons of the melted butter and blend until smooth.

  3. In a cast-iron skillet, heat the remaining melted butter over high heat until it starts to get bubbly. Add the batter and immediately put the skillet in the oven. Bake until the pancake is golden brown in color and puffed up on the edges, about 18 minutes.

  4. Remove from the oven, add the mixed berries in the center of the pancake and dust with powdered sugar. Slice into pieces and pour maple syrup over it and enjoy!
