Garlic Chili Oil Noodles

This was something I saw on tik tok and wanted to try! It looked too easy, so I was unsure how it would turn out. BUT IT WAS AMAZING. It took less than 10-minutes to make and it took 10 seconds for me and my aunt to eat! I've never used these knife cut wheat noodles before, they are so delicious. They look awesome and the texture is perfect. This will now be a regular for our late night cravings!

Ingredients:

4 oz Thick Knife Cut Wheat Noodles

1 tbsp Green Onion chopped, more for garnish

3 cloves Garlic, minced

2 tbsp Chili Flakes, you can use more or less depending on your spice preference

1 tsp Chicken Stock Powder

2 tsp Light Soy Sauce

1 tsp Dark Soy Sauce

1/2 tsp Chinese Black Vinegar

4 tbsp Vegetable Oil

Cilantro, Green Onion, and Sesame Seeds for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Cook the wheat noodles according to package, rinse with cold water, drain and place in a large bowl.

  2. Heat up the vegetable oil in a small sauce pan until it's hot and smoky.

  3. Meanwhile add the garlic, chili flakes, 1tbsp green onions, chicken stock powder, both soy sauces and the black vinegar on top of the noodles.

  4. Pour the hot oil over the noodles, especially over the chili flakes and garlic. Mix well, top with cilantro, green onions and sesame seeds and enjoy!
