Ginger Garlic Salmon

I told myself I would be eating more fish in 2021. Today we did a quick Ginger Garlic Salmon bake in the oven and it was delicious! It took longer to marinate then it did to cook. Quick and easy dinners are the best, plus this dish is super healthy!

Ingredients:

1 lb Salmon, about 3-4 filets

1-2 inch Ginger, peeled and chopped

6 cloves Garlic, peeled and chopped

2 tbsp Soy Sauce

1/2 tbsp Oyster Sauce

1 tbsp Honey

1 tsp Sesame Oil

White Pepper to taste

1 pinch Salt

Lemon

Cilantro, garnish

Sesame Seeds, garnish

Sriracha (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the Salmon and pat dry with a paper towel, transfer to a container to marinate.

  2. Rub the garlic and ginger lightly ontop of the filets.

  3. In a small bowl combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, sesame oil, white pepper and salt and drizzle it on the salmon. Make sure to coat the filets and let marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour.

  4. Once you are ready, preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray it with cooking oil.

  5. Bake the salmon in the oven for about 15 - 20 minutes.

  6. Squeeze some lemon on the filets, sprinkle some cilantro and sesame seeds and enjoy with rice and your favorite sides!
