This little concoction really wakes me up in the morning. Gives me a burst of energy while boosting my immune system. Especially with Covid and Flu Season here, these wellness shots act as a little extra boost. Plus, I think they taste great! I don't have a juicer, by my Ninja and strainer works just fine. This makes about 8 - 2oz shots.
Ingredients:
2/3 cup Fresh Ginger Root
1/2 cup Fresh Turmeric Root
2 Lemons, peeled and sliced in half
2 Oranges, peeled and sliced in half
2 tsp Honey
1 cup of Water
Black Pepper
Cayenne Pepper
Instructions:
Add the ginger, turmeric, lemons, oranges, water and honey into your blender and mix fully.
Pour the mixture into a strainer and let it drain. Make sure to use a wooden spoon to really squeeze all the juice out.
Sprinkle desired amount of black and cayenne pepper and mix well, then pour the juice into individual 2 oz containers and store in the fridge!
