We love chocolate pudding in this house! With just a few ingredients you can make it from scratch. The kids and hubby gave it a 2 thumbs up, that's always a good sign. We used cool whip and chocolate shavings as the topping, but feel free to use your own, fruit would be delicious!

Ingredients:
1 cup Granulated Sugar
1/2 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1/4 cup Cornstarch
1/2 tsp Salt
4 cups cold Whole Milk
2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
2 tsp Vanilla Extract
Instructions:
In a heavy saucepan, whisk together the sugar, cocoa, cornstarch, and salt until combined.
Add in the milk, whisking until no lumps remain.
Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly for 1-2 minutes until it thickens.
Remove from the heat; stir in butter and vanilla.
Allow mixture to cool completely, stirring occasionally to avoid a skin forming.
Pour into individual serving glasses. Enjoy warm or chill until ready to serve.
Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings or fruit.
