Honey Coconut Tangerine Sorbet

I still had a TON of tangerines from my mother in law, so I busted out my Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker and tried to make a sorbet with all of the juices. This helped use up all the tangerines, I really didn't want them to go bad. If you like a tart sorbet, then this one is for you! The coconut milk and honey does help to cut it, but it still is citrusy. It's definitely different, but that's why we love it!

Ingredients:

2 cups of Tangerine Juice

1 (13.5 oz) can Coconut Milk

1/3 cup Honey

1 tbsp Lemon Juice

Instructions:

  1. Juice your tangerines and chill them in the fridge for at least 1 hour.

  2. Throw the can of milk in the fridge too, it should also be chilled.

  3. In a blender, add the tangerine juice, coconut milk, honey and lemon juice and blend well.

  4. Add the mixture to your ice cream maker and let it churn based on your machines instructions. I did mine for about 45 minutes.

  5. Transfer to a freezer safe container and let it harden for about 2 hours.

  6. If it is too solid, leave it on the counter for about 15 minutes before you serve!
