I've never had these until I made them. My aunt and dad love them, and my grandma refused to make them because she says it's too difficult. I watched a few youtube videos and with the combination of a few recipes I made these bad boys. You have to carefully crack the top of the egg, remove the yolk, season it and pour it back in, and slow bake it for a few hours. They are pretty addicting, these didn't last.

Ingredients:

3 dozen Eggs

1 tbsp Black Pepper

1 tbsp Garlic Powder

1 tbsp Onion Powder

1 tbsp Cayenne Pepper

1 tbsp Chicken Powder

1 tbsp Fish Sauce

1 tbsp Oyster Sauce

2 tsp Salt

pinch of MSG (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Lightly tap the top of the eggs to crack, use your finger nail to gently remove the eggshells to create an opening.

  2. Use a toothpick or skewer to swirl around inside the egg to remove all the yolk into a large mixing bowl.

  3. Cut the lid of the egg crates off and discard. Lightly rinse out all the eggshells and add them back to the egg crate.

  4. Add in all of the ingredients and stir well, I used a hand mixer to blend it all together. Once done, use a measuring cup with a lip and add the yolk mixture back to the eggshells. Make sure not to fill them all the way up so they don't overflow while cooking.

  5. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees. Place the egg crates with the eggs straight into the oven, they will be fine cooking in the original crates. Let cook for 1 hour.

  6. After 1 hour, increase the temperature to 200 degrees or another hour.

  7. Check on the eggs by poking the middle of the egg with a toothpick, if it comes out clear and dry your eggs are done. If not, then increase the temperature to 230 degrees and continue to cook for 30 minutes.

  8. Let the eggs slightly cool, peel and enjoy!
