Mint Chocolate Fudge

I love Mint Chocolate. My favorite are the ones we used to sell for 5th grade camp, it's the World's Finest Chocolate Mint Meltaways. I wanted to try and recreate those and these are close! Mint always makes me think of winter.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups Milk Chocolate Chips

1 1/2 cups White Chocolate Chips

1 (14 oz) can of Sweetened Condensed Milk

1 tsp Mint Extract

Green Food Coloring

Instructions:

  1. Line an 9x9 pan with foil so that it is sticking out over the edges.

  2. In two separate sauce pans, both over medium low heat, melt the white chips and the chocolate chips. I recommend doing this with another person to prevent burning the chocolate.

  3. Add half of the sweetened condensed milk into each pan. Stir both pans until they are fully melted.

  4. Add the mint extract and the green food coloring to the white chips and stir until fully combined.

  5. Remove both pans from the heat and add a few spoonfuls at a time of each one to the pan. Shake the 9x9 pan a little to make it even. Very gently run a butter knife a few times through to give it a marble effect.

  6. Refrigerate overnight. Remove from the foil and cut into small squares and enjoy!
