This is a Lao/Thai dish, with the main ingredient being Ginger. You can use any protein but I like this with Beef. It's spicy and flavorful, just the way I like it.
Ingredients:
1/2 Onion sliced
1 large Jalapeno sliced
4 garlic chopped
2 Green Onions sliced
Handful of Cilantro sliced
1/2 cup Ginger sliced
1 1/2 lbs Beef thinly sliced (any cut of meat works)
1/4 cup of Oil
1/2 tbsp Salt
1/4 tbsp MSG
1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
1 tbsp Fish Sauce
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
Black Pepper to taste
Instructions:
Heat up oil in a large skillet on High, add in the garlic and saute for a minute or until they start to brown.
Add in the onions and ginger, msg, salt and continue to saute until the onions become translucent.
Add in the beef with the oyster sauce, fish sauce and soy sauce and continue to cook until the beef is fully cooked, add the black pepper to taste and garnish with the cilantro and green onions and serve immediately. It's great with either sticky rice or Jasmine rice.
