Thai Basil Chicken

This recipe takes about 10 minutes to make, so it's perfect meal to make after a long day of work and you want something better than fast or frozen food for dinner. The longest part, will probably be the rice!

Ingredients:

4 tbsp Oil

3 Thαi Chilis thinly sliced

3 Shallots, thinly sliced

5 cloves Garlic, sliced

1 lb ground Chicken

2 tsp Sugar

2 tbsp Soy Sauce

1 tbsp Fish Sauce

1/3 cup Chicken Broth

1 bunch Thαi Basil

Instructions:

  1. In a wok or large skillet, heat the oil on high heat and toss in the garlic, shallots and chili and fry for 2 minutes.

  2. Add in the ground chicken and stir fry for 2 minutes, breaking up the meat as you stir.

  3. Add in the sugar, soy sauce and fish sauce and continue cooking for an additional minute.

  4. Deglaze the skillet with the chicken broth and add in the Thai basil, cook until the basil is wilted and serve over rice!
