Tornado Potato

I love potatoes. Fried, baked, mashed... it doesn't matter I love it all! I saw these and just had to make them. They are a bit tricky to cut because potatoes are not perfect, but once you get the hang of it, it gets kind of fun. You can use ketchup or ranch or anything really to dip these in, but I ate them plain and they were perfect!

Ingredients:

4 medium White Potatoes

1 cup grated Parmesan Cheese

4 tbsp melted Butter

1 tbsp Paprika

1/2 tsp of Black Pepper

1 tbsp Garlic Powder

1 tsp of salt

Chopped Parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.

  2. Push a skewer into the middle of each potato until the potato is in the middle of the skewer.

  3. Hold a sharp, thin knife at an angle and cut in the opposite direction you are turning the skewered potato.

  4. Fan the potato down the skewer, so every potato spiral is spread out and brush on the melted butter, make sure the saturate the entire potato.

  5. Mix all of the other ingredients into a bowl, hold the skewer over the bowl and spoon on the mixture, making sure it's well coated.

  6. Bake in the oven for 35-45 minutes, depending on how think your potatoes are, keep checking on them, and once it's fully cooked take them out. Sprinkle with more cheese and garnish with chopped parsley!
