What a fun way to make a "fruit cake"! We cut the watermelon into a cake shape, covered it with cool whip and decorated it, you would have never known that it wasn't a real cake! The kids had a blast decorating and eating it.
Ingredients:
Watermelon
1 tub of Cool Whip
1 bag of Sliced Almonds
Blackberries
Strawberries
Kiwi
Blueberries
Instructions:
Cut he watermelon so it's flat on both ends.
Cut off the rind so you have a nice cake shape.
Cover the entire watermelon with cool whip.
Add your toppings, we covered the sides with the sliced almonds and topped it with fruit. You can use any fruit you want and in any design!
Cut into slices, serve and enjoy!
